Katie
Co-owner of The Kritter Sitters and a 40 year resident of Tucson, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a proud mom of a 10-year-old rescued Min Pin appropriately named Rocket and blessed Grandma to the best the dog in the world named Scout. A lifelong lover of dogs and cats growing up with both since childhood! I have a true passion in caring for others and believe strongly that all animals deserve to be treated with a gentle and caring hand. I bond quickly with the pets in my care, giving them the same love and attention that I would give my own fur baby.
Emily
Co-Owner and Pet Sitter Extraordinaire since 2017
Hello, pet lovers! I'm Emily, one of the proud co-owners here at The Kritter Sitters. As an avid animal lover with a deep-rooted passion for providing top-notch care, we founded The Kritter Sitters to offer a personalized, stress-free pet sitting experience for furry friends and their devoted owners alike. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, cats, horses, and all types of kritters. Growing up we always had at least one family pet in the house. The opportunity to be in this line of work is truly enriching. Currently I wear many hats. Prior to making a big move to New England I pet sat full time. These days you can find me managing the books, maintaining our social media presence and generally making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
Thank you for considering The Kritter Sitters for your pet sitting needs. We can't wait to meet you and your beloved kritters!

Originally from the Great Lakes region I moved to Tucson in 1994. Since that time, I’ve worked for myself, and been a business owner with a career in the healing arts. It goes without saying that I love animals and am always mom to a minimum of 4 animals in my own home. I like house and pet sitting because it’s quiet. I see it as a time to restore my energy while helping out. I cherish being in the company of your pet and bonding with them while providing you the comfort of knowing your home and pets are safe.

I moved to Tucson from Texas in 1991. I feel like I’ve been here long enough to call myself a native Tucsonan. I’m a huge animal lover. I previously worked for a veterinary hospital for 13+ years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, goats and chickens. In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband and son. I love being able to give my pet sitting clients the peace of mind of knowing their pets are being loved and well taken care of and treated as one of my own. At home I am at the beck and call of two cats of own (Krafty and Twinkle Toes) and one very spoiled bulldog mix (Veruca).

I grew up on the Tohono O’odham Reservation and moved to Tucson in 1985. I’ve had animals my whole life. It feels so great to meet so many different pets and care for them as if they were my own. I’m a Media Buyer for a local advertising agency and have several pets such as dogs, tortoises, and a cat. I love to travel when I can and enjoy listening to music.

I’m a Native Tucsonan. I’m currently a Musical Instrument Repair Technician for a local Tucson school district. I’m the Cat Man Extraordinaire for The Kritter Sitters team. Cats have been a part of my life since I was a kid. I have been in several music bands throughout Tucson over the years and enjoy playing music when I can.

Hello! My name is Mona. I grew up primarily in the southwest surrounded by pets. I also spent some time during the summers helping my family out on their farm in the Midwest. I am experienced, responsible, non-smoking with a love for animals and ready to care for your pets and home! I will offer peace of mind while you're away and provide (cuddles, fun, playtime, and walks) and of course, food, water, exercise, and loving companionship for your animals to ensure that they're happy and healthy while you are away.

Born in Chicago but raised in the tiny town of Coolidge, Arizona I’ve grown up with farming and ranching in my back yard. I am very fond of all animals from chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, horses and of course cats and dogs. I used to volunteer at a local horse rescue and also worked for a pig sanctuary. However, I clean up well and my full time career is in doing nails for the last 22 years in Tucson. Currently I am a business owner with my own small Nail shop in the Casa Adobes area of Tucson called “The Nail Nook Tucson.” I do have a flexible schedule certain times of year and I am often able to pet sit overnight or just do midday check ins if needed. I’ve always enjoyed having a side gig in animal care.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved out to Tucson to earn my Doctorate in music performance. In addition to being a local musician, I am also a music teacher in public schools. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a rabbit (even though I am allergic to cats!). My wife and I have two dogs of our own (Cookie and Peanut). I'm a fan of playing fetch for 15 minutes to 5 hours. Outside of playing/teaching music and hanging out with dogs, I love reading books and comics.
